Mobile Phone Cozy (Polo neck phone sock)
This lovely little mobile phone cozy can be knitted using just one of Opal’s mini balls of sock yarn and the pattern is written for double pointed needles and straight needles, so anyone can have a go! The handle can be looped around a belt or handbag and the polo neck of the cozy means that the phone won’t fall out, but is easy to remove when you need to take a call in a hurry!

Latest Arrival at The Hut!
I would like to thank everyone who has sent cards and lovely presents for Lola, who arrived on 26th July.
I hope you like the picture of her wearing her Silk & Alpaca cardigan knitted by Gran!
She’s already attended a couple of Click & Clack sessions and visits the shop regularly for her knitting fix.

Winter Knits
As we come into another Winter season, we are getting really excited about all the lovely Winter knits that are in the shops and we can create ourselves! Chunky cable and layered knits are quick and easy to achieve and a pleasure to knit in the lovely yarns from Lang and Lana Grossa. I am knitting a lovely chunky jacket in Tierra from Lang which has an unusual rib detail and is a breeze to knit on 8mm needles(pic on right). Andrea is knitting a really up to the minute design from Lana Grossa (pic on left) in Luxor and Babykid. Both these garments will be on display soon! We have THREE new pattern books from Lana Grossa, so why not come and have a look at these beautiful patterns and yarns.
