Window Watch...
We are really pleased with our window this month! For all of you lucky enough to be getting away this summer we have the perfect combination for you! How about a crocheted bikini and a beautiful knitted sarong? ?The bikini top is knitted in Elastico and you can make a bikini from two balls! The sarong is knitted using the fabulous silk and linen Gala and takes three balls. We have tied the look together with a gorgeous button necklace and a little beaded bag which takes just one ball of toccata. We are making the most of the good weather before Autumn is here and we have to put winter warmers in the window.

Hip Knits...
This month we have introduced some hand-dyed silk, cashmere and even Banana Fibre! The yarn has come from Kerrie Allman at Hipknits and is beautiful. We only have a small range at the moment but will be adding to it shortly. Kerrie has also offered to come and run a workshop where participants can make a drop spindle and try their hand at spinning some yarn!
The Banana fibre is an amazing yarn made from the leaves and stems of banana plants. It is very similar to sari silk in texture and is hand spun. It knits up between an aran and chunky weight. We think you will love it!

Bag Lady...
Have you seen our latest arrival from across the pond? We are now stocking Jordana Paige knitting bags that are amazing! They look like large handbags but have loads of pockets and compartments ?inside to store all your knitting gadgetry. They retail at £75 but at The Knitting Hut we are selling them at the introductory price of £65. We also stock her knitting needle storage boxes and will be stocking her Messenger Knitting bag in the Autumn. I have managed to wedge three projects into my bag and it still closes! The bags come in Ocean Blue, Purple and Cappucino.
